It began with a feeling...

Some dreams don't arrive fully formed.

They begin as quiet whispers—ideas that refuse to leave you alone.

For years, each of us carried a vision for a different kind of creative space. One where creativity wasn't something reserved for artists, but something everyone could rediscover. A place where curiosity was celebrated, kindness came naturally, and play was treated as something worth protecting.

We didn't know we were dreaming toward the same horizon.

Until Lunenburg brought our paths together.

Two paths, one shared vision

Before we met, Wake had created Curious & Kind—a beautiful community rooted in creativity, connection, and gentle curiosity.

Around the same time, Beth was following a series of unexpected turns that ultimately led her to Lunenburg, carrying her own long-held vision for what she called The Creative Cavern.

When we met, something clicked.

We quickly realized we weren't just sharing ideas—we were recognizing pieces of the same dream.

What one imagined, the other instinctively understood.

Instead of asking, "What if?"

We found ourselves asking,

"How do we build this together?"

Trusting the unfolding

Today, this vision exists as conversations, sketches, ideas scribbled into notebooks, late-night brainstorming sessions, walks through town, and countless moments of imagining what could be.

We're allowing it to grow organically.

Rather than forcing a timeline, we're listening for the next right step.

We believe some of the best stories aren't engineered.

They're discovered.

The dream

We imagine a welcoming creative home in Lunenburg where people of all ages can gather to make, play, learn, explore, and connect.

A place where someone can wander in believing they aren't creative...

...and leave remembering that they are.

Beyond that, we dream of a Creative Caravan—bringing creativity into parks, festivals, schools, and neighbourhoods.

And one day, perhaps even a Creative Catamaran, carrying workshops, art, music, and stories from harbour to harbour, connecting coastal communities through creativity.

The destination matters.

But so does the journey.

So we're choosing to share both.

Why we're sharing this now

This isn't the story of a finished project.

It's the story of one that's still becoming.

By sharing it from the beginning, we hope to invite others into the process—not just as visitors, but as fellow dreamers, collaborators, supporters, and community members.

Every conversation.

Every connection.

Every act of kindness.

Every spark of curiosity.

They all become part of the story.

And perhaps, by finding this page, you've already become part of it too.
