Beneath the Armour [Original]

$1,111.00

Original.

16×20” Watercolour, 2026.

There comes a moment when an artist must decide who they are creating for.

For years, I mistook vulnerability for exposure. I believed it meant revealing my body, my wounds, my story. But the greatest vulnerability I've ever known has been allowing my imagination to exist without apology—without softening it for someone else's comfort or editing it to fit someone else's expectations.

This painting is a love letter to every part of ourselves we are taught to hide.

The shadow is not the villain.

It is the forgotten part of ourselves waiting to be embraced.

May it remind you that wholeness is found not in denying our darkness, but in meeting it with tenderness.
